About Zenta
Zenta's greatest inspiration and inner nourishment is found walking on country.
Some of her most personally transformative experiences have been shaped through sitting and learning from traditional wisdom keepers and the sacred landscapes of Australia and Africa. Woven through this is the presence of the Latvian ancestry she is descendent of through her maternal lineage.

Through her work, Zenta draws upon and celebrates something common to all ancient and living cultures:
the creative spirit found within all things.
Born in 1966 to artist parents, the feeling that ongoingly shapes Zenta’s life is the experience of creativity as a natural expression that belongs to us all. Informed by this feeling, Zenta has explored the theme of Creative Spirit approaches to supporting the human journey – facilitating individuals and groups for over 30 years and incorporating practices such as shamanic drumming, rhythmic dance and the creative arts as tools for connecting with the Nature of our own unique being and the story of our Spirit.

Zenta has additional background as a palliative, oncology and relaxation massage therapist - working with clients living with life-threatening illnesses and trauma - both in private practice and at the Petrea King Quest for Life Centre in Bundanoon. In 2021, a collection of paintings created by Zenta over a period of 7 years wove themselves together into creation of the Lioness Light oracle deck. This deck continues to find its way across Australia to countries such as Africa, Egypt, Latvia, the USA, UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland and Canada.
'The experience of creativity as a form of contemplation, invocation and living energy reaches back to the birth of rock art - humanity's most ancient signature of communion with the Mystery of Creation - and it is from this realm my creative expression and Dreaming finds its way as imprints of Spirit.

Through entering what I term realms of the poetic and engaging with the visceral, physical act of creative process, I have come to experience that All that is Known is alive and present - available to impart its essence like honey flowing across the lands - knowing no boundary of time or place. Nature, the Earth, and the wisdom of the starry celestial realms hold and guide me on my journey.
